Meet Mihai

I spent seven years as an operator before I became a recruiter. As Managing Director of World Phoning Group, I built the team from 15 to 120 people and ran all hiring myself — because we could not afford to get it wrong. That is where I learned what actually makes a hire stick.

In 2020 I moved into specialist recruitment, running HRBP and lead recruiter mandates alongside founding Valuable Recruitment. The defining project was SellerPlex: a mandate to hire 200+ people across Amazon Seller operations globally, spanning the US, UK, Philippines, India, and Latin America simultaneously. That project made the 70+ countries number real — it was a logistics problem we had to solve hire by hire.

Since then I have run searches as Talent Partner at Crownpeak, Head of Recruitment at VYSSOR, and Talent Partner at BR-DGE in the UK — while growing Valuable Recruitment as my core focus. Every search still comes directly through me. No handoffs, no account managers, no junior coordinators.

2013 – 2020

VP of Operations & Sales → Managing Director, World Phoning Group Inc.

Joined as VP of Operations and Sales, then became Managing Director in 2015. Built the company from 15 to 120 staff over seven years, responsible for all hiring across operations, sales, and delivery. Revenue grew 800% and profitability reached 25% margin. Also served as Managing Director of WPG Racing Solutions (2018–2019), hiring 80+ staff to support Formula 1 broadcast operations. These mandates built the recruitment foundation: defining roles under pressure, sourcing across markets, and structuring teams for growth.

2020 – 2023

HR Business Partner — Managed IT Experts Ltd + Loginworks Softwares

Ran concurrent HRBP engagements with UK and international clients after founding Valuable Recruitment. Managed IT Experts (Fife, Scotland) was the most sustained — three years of end-to-end talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations. Loginworks Softwares (India) focused on HR strategy and talent acquisition implementation across a software services business.

2021 – 2022

Lead Recruiter, SellerPlex

Built the full recruitment function for one of the largest Amazon Seller operations businesses globally. Placed over 200 people across partner companies — spanning e-commerce operations, account management, marketing, and logistics roles across the US, UK, Philippines, India, and Latin America. This is the engagement behind the 70+ countries figure.

2022 – 2024

HR Business Partner, Çınar Food + Talent Partner, Crownpeak

Concurrent senior recruitment roles across two sectors simultaneously. At Çınar Food (Bucharest), led HR transformation and recruitment across four group companies. At Crownpeak, ran talent acquisition for a US-headquartered DXP software platform — placing tech, product, and commercial roles across a distributed international team.

2020 – present

Founder, Valuable Recruitment

Founded Valuable Recruitment as a boutique headhunting firm for SaaS, marketing agencies, AI automation, and e-commerce. Every search is founder-led with a structured scorecard process and shortlist delivery in under 10 days. Currently also serving as Head of Recruitment at VYSSOR and Talent Partner at BR-DGE (UK fintech) since 2025, and founded HireLikeaPro.app in 2026.
